"Early" Labor Continues....

"Early" labor is still happening. However, the contractions have become much much worse. I wish there was something I could do to offload some of the pain but all I can do is watch and support. Sigh. I did manage to finish my final paper for my grad school class today so I do not have anything extra hanging over my head until my second class starts up on the 13th. As always, stay tuned for more details....

"Early" Labor

So as 1AM today, "early" labor has begun. Nicole is having contractions but they are not the full-blown-stop-you-dead-in-your-tracks contractions. We did go to the doctor's office tonight and all of the tests they ran looked good. Baby is doing well and so is Mama (except for the contractions which are getting more painful). So now we wait as the contractions become more intense and more frequent so that we transition to "active" labor. Looks like it is going to be a rough night.

Week 40 - Our Due Date

Hello there,

This is the start of our blog which will celebrate the birth of our daughter! We are hoping that this will be a good way to document the amazing journey that Nicole and I will go on! We are also hoping that this will also be a good way to stay in touch with friends and family who are far away. So, today is June 28, 2009 and it is our scheduled due date. Nicole has been feeling great but as of today, there is nothing going on. So to start off this web journal I am posting some pictures that were taken last week (week 39) and some pictures that were taken as of this morning to commemorate our due date.
